FedEx South Windsor is a FedEx distribution center—this facility is open 24/7. We had to be careful to not shutdown any of their work time.
We milled Heavy duty spec which is 8.0”. We had to have a very specific phasing plan for each day. For each phase (10 phases in total) we milled the surface at midnight and the milling crew was done and wrapped up by 7 am.
Paving crew was onsite at 7 am and paving by 8am. Completed each phase and handing it back to FedEx before the start of the next phase.
