Available Positions

  • Truck Drivers

    Drivers – Class A: 

    • Performs complete pre-trip inspection including, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls.
    • Drives heavy diesel trucks to and from job locations and plants.
    • Courteously interacts with customers, dispatcher(s) and supervisors.
    • Cleans truck daily after use. Cleans bed after asphalt load.
    • Immediately reports any safety or customer service issues of which the employee is made aware to supervisor or manager.
    • Completes required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Check List, Weekly Report, and other forms as required.
    • Ensures compliance with DOT and Company hours of service standards
    • Performs driver check-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day, including post-trip inspections.
    • Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates in all required safety training and meetings.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
    • Must be willing to take initiative. 
    • Understand hand signals given by lead paver.

    Required Qualifications: 

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Valid CDL License
    • CLEAN Driving Record
    • Up to Date DOT Medical Card
    • Must be able to pass drug test if requested
    • Good attendance and on time is a must.
    • Required to perform task that include heavy lifting of 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and reaching.
    • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
  • Heavy Equipment Operator

    Specifically - Backhoe / Skid Steer / Milling Machine / Paving Machine / Grader / Roller / Excavator. 


    Job Role:

    • Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights.
    • Report any problems to your manager or supervisor.
    • Ensure a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
    • Maintain constant eye contact and use hand signals or other movements to communicate effectively with co-workers when backing or working together.
    • Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environments.
    • Adhere to directions from a Manager or Supervisor regarding daily tasks and project expectations.
    • Perform minor servicing and maintenance on equipment, referring major issues to the Operations Manager.
    • Conduct daily pre-and post-inspections of equipment with proper documentation as required by company policies.
    • Assist in training less-experienced employees in proper equipment operation, servicing, and repair to enhance their skills.
    • Perform general labor duties as needed or other tasks as assigned.
    • Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt rollers, pavers, screeds, compactors, skid-steers, forklifts, and backhoes.

  • General Laborer

    Specifically - Asphalt Finish Rackers, Experienced Asphalt Laborers

    • Report any problems to your manager.
    • Ensure a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
    • Maintain constant eye contact and use hand signals or other movements to communicate effectively with co-workers when backing or working together.
    • Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environments.
    • Adhere to directions from all Managers and Supervisors regarding daily tasks and project expectations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Assist the stripping/patching crew with tasks such as shoveling, raking, crack sealing, and sealcoating.
    • Help with the layout of line stripes in parking lots and perform various labor duties related to pavement marking.
    • Operate small power tools or crack routing machines as needed.
    • Ensure dependable transportation to and from the shop.
    • Operate and assist with the operation of vehicles, trailers, and equipment, including backup driving duties.
    • Perform manual labor, including using hand tools, operating equipment, driving utility trucks, and loading/unloading equipment, supplies, and materials.
